Beginning as an asset management assignment with ACD2 (Ahmanson Commercial Development) of existing assets within the Calabasas sub-market, the Calabasas Commerce Center consisted of a three-building office campus development.
As the office market tightened and a long-term lease was secured with Amwest Insurance Group, a member of our firm assisted in the roles of development manager, construction manager and property manager for the development of this 75,815 square foot office building. The development is located within the Calabasas Commerce Center, a 210,000 square foot office campus on the 101 Technology Corridor in Calabasas.
Construction documents for the building construction had previously been completed and were required to be updated for current codes as well as specific modifications to suit the tenant. The architectural firm of Ware Malcomb designed Calabasas Commerce Center. Cushman & Wakefield served as the owner’s leasing agent for the development.
